To bring some cheer to the local residents affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake in 2024, "Team Wajimajin" will hold the "Furumai Hiroba Furumai da yo! Zen'in Shugo" event at Wajima Marin Town on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
With the support of many people, there will be booths offering a wide variety of "furumai" (free food/drinks) and "takidashi" (emergency food services), including bento boxes, food and drinks, and sweets!
There will also be electric motorcycle experiences, student brass band and taiko performances, a popular balloon show for children, and even a stage performance by Kouhaku singer Kaori Mizumori!
●What is "Team Wajimajin"?
Formed by Takeshi Warabino, owner of "Photo Warabino," whose home and studio were completely destroyed by the large-scale fire caused by the earthquake in January, along with his classmates and Wajima citizens.
They are working to restore Wajima to its bright and vibrant self.
