It can be operated without a license for those 16 and over.

"SUNRIN" has received a conformity notification from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's performance confirmation test.
License Plate Registration Required
License plate registration is required through the Light Motor Vehicle Tax Declaration (Report) and License Plate Issuance Application.
Payment of Light Motor Vehicle Tax
As this product is classified as a special small motor-assisted bicycle, the owner is liable for tax payment.
A tax notice will be sent from the respective municipal office; please follow the instructions in the document.
Mandatory Liability Insurance Enrollment
Enrollment in liability insurance is required.
Please apply at retailers, convenience stores, insurance agencies, or insurance company offices.
Helmet Use (Effort Obligation)
This product is treated as a special small motor-assisted bicycle.
Wearing a helmet is an effort obligation, but we recommend wearing one to protect your head in case of an accident.
Cannot be ridden when battery is dead
If the lights go out due to a dead battery, the vehicle cannot be ridden.
As it will no longer meet the standards for special small motor-assisted bicycles, such as having headlights on or turn signals flashing when turning, please do not ride it when the battery is dead.
Do not engage in dangerous driving
Please do not engage in dangerous driving, such as drunk driving or operating a smartphone while driving.
Also, loaning or reselling to individuals under 16 years old is prohibited.
