On September 20, 2023, a "Training Session for Specified Small Motorized Bicycles" was held at the Izunokuni Nagaoka Sogo Kaikan, planned by the Shizuoka Prefectural Bicycle and Light Motor Vehicle Commercial Cooperative!
This training session was held with the aim of deepening knowledge by using actual vehicles of the "specified small motorized bicycle," a new vehicle category added due to the Road Traffic Act revision on July 1.
We explained the outline of the revised Road Traffic Act related to specified small motorized bicycles, traffic rules, and conducted test rides using the Sun Emperor "SS1."
The "SS1" is a vehicle that has received notification of conformity under the performance confirmation system by "JATA," an institution certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
We will continue to raise awareness of traffic rules and usage methods so that specified small motorized bicycles can be used safely, conveniently, and comfortably.
